Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at Virginia Tech is hosting the
third annual "High Performance Computing in the Life/Medical
Sciences" 2-week summer institute

sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

This summer 2-week intensive course (July 29- Aug. 8, 2014) is
directed towards eligible undergraduates, graduate students and
postdocs interested in further developing their expertise in
biology relevant high performance and data intensive computing
field.

During the course, participants will attend lectures and
discussions by leading field members including academic and
industrial affiliates and work on a group research project with
three other course participants.

The course is supported by a NSF Funded Award No. OCI-1124123.

A travel stipend, including lodging (in a Virginia Tech dorm
room) and sustenance (primarily from the Virginia Tech dining
halls) is provided.

Application deadline is Sunday March 30th; please see:
