Attention Middle and High School Students: Dupont Challenge Essay Submission Due January 31
Middle and high school students (grades 7-12) from the from the United States, Canada, and U.S. territories are encouraged to submit a 700-1,000-word essay that provides innovative ideas on the world's most pressing challenges, or demonstrates the application of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to our daily lives. This year, the Challenge encourages students to consider how science and innovation can be used to meet the needs of the 21st century for food, energy, and protection. Students and sponsoring teacher prizes include savings bonds, teaching grants, exciting trips, and much more. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2014.
